PART 1: TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT
Between Daljinder (Jinder) Johal Verney – Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (RNTP)
and the Client
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is the science-based application of nutrition and lifestyle medicine to support health, vitality, and the body's own healing potential. As a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and how these might contribute to symptoms and health concerns. This allows for the development of personalised nutrition and lifestyle plans rather than a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
Nutritional therapy is classed as complementary to conventional medicine. It is suitable for those with chronic conditions, cancer, BRCA gene considerations, or anyone wanting to enhance their wellbeing. I frequently work alongside other healthcare providers and will communicate with them—with your permission—where appropriate.
Important Disclaimers
Please note the following:
-
I do not diagnose or treat cancer or any medical condition.
-
Nutritional therapy is not a replacement for conventional medical treatment or advice.
-
Always consult your GP or oncologist before making changes to medication or treatment plans.
-
If you are currently undergoing cancer treatment or taking prescription medication, it is vital you notify me and your healthcare team before implementing new nutrition or supplement protocols.
-
The information shared through Hope 4 Health (whether via consultation, email, website, or social media) is for educational purposes only and is not intended to be medical advice.
-
You must not cease conventional treatment unless under the guidance of a licensed medical professional.
Scope of Practice
-
Any suggestions regarding supplementation or functional testing will be based on clinical need, your goals, and your consent.
-
Tests may be from practitioner-only labs, which follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Interpretation of such tests requires specialist training and time, which is reflected in consultation pricing.
-
I may receive a commission for supplements or testing services recommended via third-party platforms. In many cases, I pass a portion of this back to clients as a discount. You are welcome to source the same product elsewhere if you wish.
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
-
Inform your GP of any nutritional plans if you are receiving concurrent treatment.
-
Disclose any diagnosis, medication, supplements, or herbal products you are currently using.
-
Follow any recommended programmes as discussed. If unclear, please reach out for clarification.
-
Understand that what is recommended to you is unique to your health history and may not suit others.
-
Not share supplement plans or test results with others as a form of self-diagnosis.
-
Not record consultations without mutual written consent.
-
Ensure a working internet connection for online consultations. Missed online sessions due to tech issues on your side will be treated as a 'no show.'
